David Hill has over sixteen years of experience with the planning, evaluation and implementation of energy efficiency and renewable energy programs. He has provided program design advice and implementation support for New Jersey’s Clean Energy Programs as a collaborative advisor and as a member of the Honeywell Market Manager Team. David has worked for dozens of utility and non-utility clients nationally and abroad, and been a member of VEIC’s Planning and Evaluation Group since 1998. David is currently a Board Member and the National Policy Committee Chair for the American Solar Energy Society. He has provided expert testimony in regulatory and legislative hearings in Vermont, Pennsylvania, New York and Ontario. Before joining VEIC David worked for five years with the Tellus Institute and the Boston Center of the Stockholm Environment Institute. David has a joint undergraduate degree from Middlebury College in Geography and Political Science, a Masters Degree in Appropriate Technology and International Development from the University of Pennsylvania, and a PhD in Energy Management and Policy Planning, also from the University of Pennsylvania.
